Swim Lessons

Bennett started swim lessons on Monday. After last summer's struggle, we decided to only sign him up for one session. The first day was a little rocky - he got in the pool okay (big improvement), but he didn't want to practice floating on his back or belly. Since then, we have been arriving at the pool about 20 minutes early so Bennett can play in the wading pool. This gives him the opportunity to get wet and comfortable in the water before the lesson starts. It has been surprisingly helpful! Now, Bennett is very cooperative, and actually enjoys the lessons! Today, he was very excited, because they "spider monkey-ed" around the whole pool (even in the deep end). What a big boy!
